Scientists predict huge dead zone. Yeah, in the gulf of mexico. Mostly, it is due to nitrogen in excess. Most of this comes in spring. Farmers hit the fields with an ammonia spray. This gets into ground water and goes into many rivers. Eventually, it end up in our ocean.
