People in antique photographs did not smile any. Just look at the faded old tin-types I tell you. OK, so that was because society back then thought that smiling was only for buffoons and clowns - which are creepy. Funny, the people back then look even more eerie. Could be that we should all be glad that we were not born in the Victorian era.
