Frankly, there was in the past a lot of sexism. Let us try to remember the previous era. Yeah, women were nurses... surgeons were men. Just ponder on how women were secretaries, and lawyers were men. Well, those ultra efficient ladies that answer the company telephone are now called office managers. However, they are not real managers... any more than a sanitation engineer is a real engineer.
